Who we are

Here at The Gamekeepers Table, we have over a decade of experience in the game industry. We specialise in the supply of venison to the hospitality industry and private clients and offer packages of guided stalking. Our deer management service is available to clients throughout Devon and the South West.

"Welcome to The Gamekeepers Table. My name is Lee and I started the business after years of being a Gamekeeper and Deer Manager. Prior to this, I was in the Army and it was my enjoyment of working outdoors, field sports and wildlife management that made me choose the new career of Gamekeeping.

Over the years, I have become more interested in Deer Management, whilst working as a Gamekeeper in Somerset. I became involved with a Deer Manager who took me under his wing and taught me more about deer and is still a close friend and mentor.

I have qualifications in Gamekeeping, Wildlife Management and Deer Management, which was obtained through the British Deer Society. This covers large game meat hygiene so you can buy with confidence from us, knowing that the meat you buy has been handled and inspected correctly by a trained professional."

 All of our processes are responsibly managed by our experts and we are proud to cover the full end-to-end process - from our fields to your plate. We are members of the British Deer Society and British Association of Shooting & Conservation, so take our role within the sustainability of venison very seriously.

At The Gamekeepers Table, we sell a huge range of pre-packaged Venison, perfect for private clients and the hospitality sector. All of our Venison has lived a wild life and is sustainably harvested through our managed cull programmes, within the countryside of the South West. Venison can be used in everyday cooking and has a lot of health benefits. It is high in proteins, low in calories and fat, lower in cholesterol than chicken and turkey and high in vitamins and minerals.
